Tom Engel and Jody McCoy aren’t new to the industry. Engel has completed more than 300 media related transactions as a buyer, seller, advisor, or broker totaling more than $1 billion and has been involved in raising more than $500 million in debt and equity for various entities. As co-founder of Strategic Tower Advisors, he puts his experience and the relationships he’s developed to work for STA’s clients.
He began his career in the media business in 1972 working for American Television & Communications. He has served as CEO, COO, President, and VP of Bauce Cellular One, Jones Intercable; the Pat Thompson Company, MaxTel, Leonard International, and various Milestone Companies.
Engel has provided expert testimony to the Library of Congress and U.S. Copyrights Tribunal. He has also served as director and president of several communications trade associations, authored many articles in various trade journals, and been a presenter on numerous tower, cellular and cable television panels. His international experience includes Asia, UK, and the South Pacific.
Mr. Engel is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin.
